Admissions Policy

As is the case for Wootton Park School, the admissions policies for our proposed free schools will satisfy requirements of the School Admissions Code, the School Admissions Appeals Code and admissions law. Our admissions process will be inclusive, open, fair and transparent.

In accordance with the law, children with statements of Special Educational Need will be admitted to the school where the Local Authority has specifically named one of our schools as the most appropriate placement. In the event of there being greater demand than there are places available to the school, places will be offered using oversubscription criteria in keeping with the School Admissions Code.

The Trust is considering the inclusion of the criteria for random allocation and a reserved percentage for those families eligible for pupil premium.

We will publish our full admissions policy here soon.
